Wessex Health Partners supports ICBs to develop services for women and girls

Here at Wessex Health Partners we are working increasingly closely with our two local Integrated Care Boards (ICBs ) - Dorset and Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Each ICB is focused on improving services for women and girls. 

To aid their understanding, the ICBs commissioned the WHP core team to provide an insight into research undertaken in the Wessex region on women and girls' health. This work involved:

    • Extracting 197 studies from research databases
    • Speaking to 50 researchers 

    Our report presents a wide-ranging selection of studies, providing a rich overview of current and recent work undertaken.

    Our findings are designed to inform and support the two ICBs, helping shape future discussions and develop recommendations.

    Through this work, we have also been able to connect researchers across the region who share similar interests.
