Call for Expressions of Interest: Sharing Air Quality solutions and best practice projects and interventions

We are inviting expressions of interest from partners across the whole of the Clean Air South network who have led or contributed to projects or interventions aimed at improving air quality in the South of England.
This is an opportunity to showcase innovative approaches, share lessons learned, and inspire further action across the region. Selected contributors will be invited to present at our upcoming event in Portsmouth on 25th September focused on regional air quality improvement.
In addition to the CAS showcase event in September, in partnership with Southampton City Council and the Environment Centre’s event in June, we are developing a brochure of these case studies across the region, which we invite you to submit your case study too, for publication and launch in September.
We are particularly interested in projects covering the following areas, which must be based in the Wessex region – Hampshire, the Solent and Dorset:

At the Expression of Interest stage, we ask for:
Presenters at the event will be invited to speak to one slide, for 5 minutes on their project or intervention, as well as join a panel for further discussion with participants. We would like to hear both the successes, and also the lessons learned.

Deadline for registration to the event: 5 September 2025
We will aim for all submissions to be featured in the brochure. In the event we have more submissions than time at the showcase event on 25 September the CAS steering group will select a range of presentations that cover the breadth of our geographical region, and the suggested themes.
