Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) often goes unnoticed until it’s advanced, driving hypertension, heart disease, risk of kidney failure, and high long-term costs as it progresses. The implications of not addressing this population health challenge are recognised and reflected in NHS system targets. Many of the same strategies that protect the kidneys also protect the heart, making early detection a shared win for patients and the health system alike. 

 Please join us for this half-day collaborative workshop which will bring commissioners, clinicians, patients and partners across primary and secondary care in Wessex together to learn more about the local challenge and develop practical, tailored strategies for earlier detection and better outcomes in CKD.
