Without the knowledge to optimise AI use, a company could lose £millions in failed grant applications. Learn from an expert how to win.
This course comes with the book - Judgement: Winning Bids in the Age of AI.
The course is designed for those wanting to win highly competitive funding bids. Major funders permit AI in bid preparation, and assessors report that many applications now show clear signs of AI-assisted drafting. However, success rates have not improved. Assessors continue to see a high volume of weak submissions: generic, poorly evidenced bids that lack alignment with funder criteria or credible delivery logic and would not be fundable regardless of speed.
The underlying value of this course is to improve the quality and competitiveness of bids developed using AI, thereby strengthening applicants’ chances of success. The approaches are applicable across a wide funding range, from awards of around £50,000 to highly competitive bids of £1 million or more.
The issue is not whether AI is used, but how it is used. This course focuses on practical, transferable ways of working with AI that support clarity, consistency and efficiency without undermining judgement, evidence or credibility. AI is treated as a drafting aid, not a substitute for thinking, with responsibility for quality and persuasion remaining firmly with the bid team.
