Sameer Umranikar
Mr Sameer Umranikar is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Endometriosis specialist at Princess Anne Hospital, which is an accredited endometriosis centre of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. He has extensive experience in managing women with endometriosis. He completed his training in the Wessex Deanery and undertook a Masters degree in Minimal Access surgery from the University of Surrey and a Diploma in Advanced Endoscopic Surgery from the University of Auvergne, Clermont Ferrand, France. He has been a Senior Council Member of the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and has conducted several national and international courses. He has been actively involved in undertaking several NIHR and International research studies in endometriosis. He works in a multi-disciplinary endometriosis team. He has a very keen interest in managing women with endometriosis, which is complex condition which affects women considerably.
Virginia Rivers Buckley
Virginia is a Clinical Academic Pelvic Health Physiotherapist at University Hospital Southampton, with specialist clinical and research interests in the management of chronic pelvic pain. Virginia is an Early Career Ambassador for the World Endometriosis Society, a member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) Journal Committee, and Co-Founder of The Pelvic Pain Network (a private provider of specialist pelvic pain physiotherapy, clinical mentoring, and professional education).
Sadie Were
Sadie is a psychological therapist in the NHS who specialises in the treatment of post traumatic stress disorder, mood disorders and management of menstrual health conditions. Sadie is a senior teaching fellow in clinical psychology & CBT at the University of Southampton and her research interests focus on the psychological impact of Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain.
