Wessex Nutrition Research Network Summer Showcase

We are delighted to invite you to this year’s Wessex Nutrition Research Network Summer Showcase.

Our theme this year is Rural & Coastal Nutrition Across the Life Course. This event will bring together researchers, practitioners and partners from across Wessex to explore the unique nutrition challenges and opportunities within our rural and coastal communities. Expect an energising day of learning, sharing and collaboration.

Programme highlights:

• Inspiring keynote speakers on rural & coastal nutrition challenges and innovation

• Practice & research showcase featuring real-world nutrition research journeys

• Poster exhibition spanning research, education and service improvement

• Interactive sandpit sessions to co-design future research ideas

• A collaborative plenary to shape next steps and future funding opportunities 

We also warmly invite poster submissions for the exhibition. If you would like to present your work, please submit your poster title and a short summary (~200 words) to Dr Sarah McHillier (hilliers@bournemouth.ac.uk) by 16th June. We encourage submissions from individuals at all stages of their research journey, especially those curious and in the early stages (service improvement projects, literature reviews and PPIE are all welcome). Prizes will be given.
